About Me
- Françoise Mallecourt Cockburn
- I was born, and grew up, in France. After completing my graduate studies in Psychology in Lyon, I lived in London (England) and then Mexico City before coming to Toronto where I taught various subjects in high school such as French, Spanish and visual art. Throughout my teaching years, I continued to pursue my artistic passions for painting, sculpting and welding. Since retiring, however, I have been able to dedicate my time more fully to my visual art practice - painting, traveling more frequently with my camera seeking out revealing images to photograph or paint, manipulating my photographs and creating mosaics.
